- The Hitmen Termite and Pest Control
Summer is here! Unfortunately, with the warm nights and outdoor picnics come yellow jackets, wasps and mosquitoes. Of course, the best way to avoid these pests is to take preventative measures. These tips will help you enjoy the rest of your summer without the bzzzzz of pests:
Pet food, garbage bin leftovers and hummingbird feeders are more appealing to pests than you might think. Feed pets inside, keep garbage bins clean and tightly closed and take down hummingbird feeders when they are not being used.
Because mosquitoes breed in standing water it is important to empty all birdbaths, wheel barrows and anything else holding water around your home. Also be sure to clean out rain gutters that may be clogged.
Be sure to check your outside walls, ceilings and attics for pest nests. Nest can grow quickly, the sooner you find them the better.

Hitmen's Not Finished til the Job's Done!
Recently a client called Hitmen complaining of an unusual number of bees buzzing around their house. Once on scene, a Hitmen service rep observed that the bees had actually burrowed into the customer's stucco home and had built a nest in the roof. The job required removing stucco, removing and replacing sheet rock and filling wall voids with wire mesh and screens. It wasn’t an easy job, but Hitmen got it done.
